I'm a 30 years old Danish director and visual effects artist.

Besides being an established artist in the VFX industry I work as a director of animation and live action. I am part of a tightly knit group of individuals dedicated to producing high quality fiction that engages both the mind and eyes of its audience. I work within and outside the established state supported funds for film in Denmark - sometimes financing films myself to try out new ideas or get small projects off the ground a bit faster.

I always strive to improve my work and spend a fair share of my time developing new projects. Check my showreel and shortfilms to see samples of my work.

For the past decade I have worked on tv spots and commercials for clients including: Zentropa, Designit, LEGO, Sunquick, Novo Nordisk, DR, Sunset, TDC, Føtex, Jysk, University of Aalborg, Energy Service Denmark, Maybelline, RTX Telecom and Arla. Besides commercials I have done work on music videos for artists such as Infernal, Grand Avenue and others.

A large part of my work has consisted of look development, proof of concept tests, R&D and providing technical solutions to a variety of production related challenges.

3ds max - Modelling, materials, particles, lighting, rendering (VRay, Brazil, finalRender+Toon).
After Effects - Compositing, keying, grading, animated textures, etc.
Photoshop - Used in concert with 3ds max and After Effects.
Final Cut Pro - Editing for my short films and various spots.
Apple Color - Used to a great extent on the mockumentary Born Again.

Real Flow - Did some droplets and splash effects for a variety of productions.
Syntheyes - Tracked live action plates for 3D element insertion on a commercial spot.
Mocha - Tracked live action elements to be replaced with corner pinned CG sequences.
Mudbox - Painted extra details on a character and exported bitmaps for displacement.
